Experience: It’s pouring outside, so pour yourself something inside... Raincloud is the perfect “stay at home” brew. Dark, smooth, mysterious—this rich and flavorful porter is brewed with chocolate and crystal malts and a subtle blend of European hops. Raincloud is the ideal accompaniment for a lazy day of movie watching or reading.

Very chocolatey brew with some roasted coffee. Long but a bit thin finish. A little unbalanced.

Can from my Dads beer of the month club. Pours a nice black, beige head. Coffee, roasted malts. Nice easy drinker. Not great but very solid. Somewhat thin. Watching Independence Day.

Tap at brewery compared to the porter I had down the road this was. Rusting with flavor. Nose is cola and chocolate, tastes of coffee, cola, chocolate, roasted malt, touch of burnt sugar, and raisin. Fine palate.

Pours a dark chocolate with a khaki head.Lots of bitter coffee and chocolate, classic chocolate and crystal malt porter combo. A little unbalanced with acidity, a little too thin in the mouth, but not horribly so on either count. Okay beer.

Can from Nikki’s Liquors in Providence, RI. Dark, fairly dense looking pour with a dense tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, hint of semi-sweet chocolate. Similar taste, but a bit metallic as well. Just a bit. Semi-creamy palate.

Standard porter appearance: deep opaque brown with a thick tan head. Smells like roast malts and rye bread. The flavor is dark chocolate with some bitterness. There’s an odd "stale" aftertaste that detracts from the beer. Thick but smooth with restrained carbonation. Good porter, and great that it’s canned. Canned porters seem really tough to find for some reason.

(Rating #6119)

Pours black with a foamy tan head. Nose is roasted malts with a hint of cocoa. Taste is sweet with a slightly dry bitter dark chocolate finish. A bit on the thin side for me, but tasty porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

OK, my can says robust, not raincloud but there is a raincloud on the can, whatever. Nice big black pour. Got this can from the beer store in Nashua. A thin creamy head resides on top. Nice smooth porter or stout aromas. Somewhat tastes like a more mild impy stout. Almost Baltic but not quite. Yes, lets you know its near 7% but fairly well reserved. Has somewhat of a burnt texture to it. Alky finish is apparent. I guess that’s why its said to be robust, heheh.

Black with 2mm of medium-fine light brown head that is medium-fast to fade. Aroma is mineral-grass, light bbq, some chocolate, hint of forest. Body is medium light with medium carbonation, somewhat fat bubbles, medium burn, big for the carbonation, enhances the body. Not creamy, distinct bubbles, fat prickle. Flavor is semi-sweet, woody bbq with light caramel and herbal pine. Touch of grapefruit. No chocolate. Slight mineral. Hint of smokiness to the wood. A very good, enjoyable porter. I particularly like that slightly smoky wood in the flavor.
