Experience: It’s pouring outside, so pour yourself something inside... Raincloud is the perfect “stay at home” brew. Dark, smooth, mysterious—this rich and flavorful porter is brewed with chocolate and crystal malts and a subtle blend of European hops. Raincloud is the ideal accompaniment for a lazy day of movie watching or reading.

Pours nearly black with a tan head. Very little in the way of aroma, but flavors of roasted to burnt coffee.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2014 On tap at Doherty’s Ale House Warwick 4/7/14 Solid dark brown/black small tan head. Chocolate and roast with hints of caramel and earth. Decent porter.

4/10/14 Can brought back from OSHC. Pours a solid black color with a smallish tan head that dissipates almost instantly. Aromas of bitter dark chocolate with a hint of caramel. Light burnt and molasses notes with a heavy earthy hop presence. The flavor mimics the aroma quite well. Bitter dark chocolate with caramel and molasses as well as hints of dark fruits. Solid earthy hop bitterness and flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick bubbly mouthfeel. I quite enjoyed this beer at home, great can.

A perfectly decent porter, though not terribly exciting or groundbreaking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. A lively pour of an opaque pitch black beer with a billowing light tan head; there’s a rich chocolate aroma; in the mouth it’s smooth with a caramel and coffee taste; then a dry and fruity finish. A decent porter.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2014 pours from can stout black color. wasnt expecting much but was surprised to find very bold roasted malty flavour with strong coffee and burnt carmal undertones. slight bitter alcohol aftertaste, overall very good beer would recommend. a lot better than their golden ale I thought. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This poured a medium to darker brown with a beige head. Aroma was of light roast and cola. Falvor was similar, mild roast, caramel, grapes, a bit off and bland.

12oz can pours a watery black with some spitty, off white head. Nose is odd, trashy, dirty coffee pot, soil, malt, molasses. Flavor is a little better, malty, bready, toast, milk chocolate. Dry finish.

The flavor is pretty much as it should be: dominated by roasted malts, bitter, with chocolate and coffee in the background. Not too much sweetness. Healthy level of hops. Medium bodied. Straightforward but well done.

This is a somewhat unique tasting but very good porter. Dont let the can be a detterent.

For breakfast have roasted chocolate oatmeal with dark roast coffee, or have this beer as it smells the same. Brown to black appearance, indistinct. Classic porter flavor: burnt barley and blunted bitter hopping. Comes off a percent stronger than it is. On the weak side, the body could be thicker and richer, it’s a dry out too. Best beer from this outfit though.
