COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
New Cream Ale Formula: Two row barley, a hint of wheat and noble hops make Carolina Blonde exactly what a craft brew American Cream Ale should be. Clean, refreshing flavor. Rich, golden color. Unmistakable smoothness. Brewed right here in North Carolina.

12 ounce bottle from Harris Teeter Crozet. Pours a hazy yellow color with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted malts, grassy hops, corn and apples. Almost skunky, oddly. The taste is tart malts, corn, grain grassy hops. Medium bodied and refreshing.

Tap at CLT airport. Clear pale yellow pour with a small spotty head. Very simple grain flavor with a hint of vanilla. Kind of meh.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy yellow color with a big frothy white head. Aroma has some floral and grassy hops, some overripe fruits, yeasty notes, some pale malt and light graininess. Flavor starts sweetish with some graininess and fruitiness and continues drier with light yeasty notes and a moderately bitter finish with spicy, grassy hops notes. Light to medium-bodied with too much carbonation. OK.

b3shine (5820) - Indiana, USA - MAY 28, 2014
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a completely transparent gold with white head. Smells and tastes of mild bitter hops with notes of yeast and wheat. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. An easy drinker with a bit of an extra hop kick for the style.

Suttree (5256) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 29, 2012
Yellow, clear, no head. Smells grainy, toasty. Flavor is also grainy and toasty, with some canned corn. A bit fuller bodied than the old recipe, as well. Finishes with a slight piney, grassy hop finish.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5077) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 6, 2012
From the 8/2012 3R6P tasting +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was dry and tart with notes of citrus and perfume. The flavor was dry and tart with vague citrus, band aid and a touch of bread. Medium length dry, tart and citric finish. Light body. Not good.

Well...sometimes you have to disagree with everyone. I really like this beer. Had at the airport in Charlotte. Had a nice light crisp aroma. Looks okay. A Kolsch-like beer, but with a nice crisp dry finish. A could drink a lot of these: a great finish.

Pours pale yellow into a pilsner. Bright white head with little retention recedes to nothing. Soft with sour corn and sweet wheat.
