2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. The pour was a clear light yellow with a small (1 finger or less) white frothy head that diminished down to a very thin film and tiny collar creating some fair streaky lacing.
The aroma was of a grain malt, a grassy hop and a musty cobweb yeast with a hint of corn and not much else.
The taste was a bitter acidic with a pronounced grainy feel from the beginning and finished mildly hoppy with a slight metallic presence at the end. The flavor lasted an average time after the swallow with a slight bitterness and a mild metallic taste left to linger.
Mouthfeel was very light in body with a watery yet mildly dry texture and a prickly carbonation.
Overall a pretty basic brew that was more like a light beer than a Cream Ale, although it did have a decent bitter undertone to it...

Golden yellow pour with a thin white head. Taste is grassy and lacks any significant ale distinguishers.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has straw, wet grass, and slightly stale hoppiness. Flavor has a slight malty sweetness, straw, and light grass...cerealy. mouthfeel is medium/full with a dry grassy finish. Flavor is much better than the aroma suggests.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle from store. Aroma is skunky. Transparent yellow with plenty of carbonation. Salty initial taste transitions to unpleasant bitter aftertaste that wonít go away. Medium bodied, carbonated with foamy finish. This is one of the worst beers Iíve ever had.

From bottle. Poured golden in color with big white head. Aroma is malt with a touch of citrus hops and wheat. Taste follows with a clean cream ale taste and clean finish.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear amber pour. Stale smell and taste. If this is what an "American Cream Ale" should be, Iím moving to a different class!

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Blonde body with a light head. Light, grainy nose with corn character and crisp hops. The body is rather dank, twangy grains and corn, and with a mild, tannic and soapy finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sharp noble hoops in the nose and taste. Appearance is typical of a blonde ale. Far from my favorite style, but this one is nice!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce single bottle from a local restaurant here on Lake Norman. Clear blonde color, its aroma is lightly malty. Flavor is a match, with a neat bitterness on the finish. Not a bad beer, just kind of boring. More of a blonde ale - not really a cream ale at all - not sure why they put cream ale on the label when it isnít even remotely close.
