3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. One of the new Foothills offerings that I haven’t taken the opportunity to enjoy very often. I felt like a light refreshing ale tonight, so into the glass she goes!
Pours a pale gold that is transparent. A large frothy white head billows forth. I can tell already this one is packing some carbonation. Nice subtle strawberry aroma, lemon ice, with a dry sawdust-like scent on the back end.
Huge amounts of bubbles on the palate, this one is quite a scorcher for such a light "easy-drinking" ale. Tone that stuff down! Granted, I don’t want a flat beer, but this is a little overkill. Creamy corn-like grains with a kiss of sweet strawberries. There’s just a touch of tartness from the fruit on the finish, but it fleets away quickly.
A good beer. About what I expected. One I would get again, but maybe on tap. These bubbles are wearing on me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle from Ingles in Hickory. Gold pour with dirty white head. Aroma of dusty, berry, hay. Tastes are little sweet strawberry soda, little tart. Straightforward, crisp.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Better than the non-strawberry version. Slightly effervescent. Strawberry flavor is delicate.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle. Pale gold color, with a medium, off-white, bubbly head. The aroma is weak nondescript berries, pine, flowers, and hay. A little sweet, acidic, and light, off-putting, sour aftertaste. Light to medium, sharp, and sticky. This is a surprisingly unpleasant beer. Wouldn’t recommend.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle, from Triangle Wine, Morrisville. Ok aroma, sweet, strawberry is mild, but adds to the cream ale base. pinkiish yellow color, good initial head, faded quick, little to no lace. sweet, slight tart flavor. light body. smooth creamy mouthfeel, sweet finish. it’s fine, good for a lower abv beer, fairly mild fruit beer, which is kind of nice, as some can be too sweet.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at the brewer. Almost clear pink beer, it looks like blush wine. Very small amount of head. Aroma contains only a slight hint of strawberries and the taste has more. Might be a good summertime sipper, or palate cleanser, but not a great Foothills beer. I almost regret getting it, but I think I’d regret not knowing, more.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not too bad for a beer that was taken over by a new brewery. Decent strawberry flavor, but there is much better ones out there!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mostly clear medium yellow body with a generous white head that slips away quickly.
Grassy, grainy aroma. No strawberry that I can detect.
The flavor is lightly tart, lightly sweet. Again, no strawberry.
So so blonde ale.

Gatlinburg Walgreen’s find. Straight from the bottle after a long day of moving prep. Faint, slightly sweet and tart strawberry notes. Not bad at all.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cardboard, stale malt, maybe a little strawberry. Clear golden, medium fizzy head. Strawberry and stale malt. Fizzy and kind of harsh. Now brewed at Foothills, but still tastes like the old Carolina Beer Co. Meh, fruit beer.
