True to its North Carolina roots, this American IPA delivers on the floral, hoppy notes that made Cottonwood a Boone, NC favorite. 100% malted barley and copious amounts Cascade, Magnum, and Chinook hops.

Clear gold, minimal head. Very hoppy aroma w/ grapefruit and other fruit. Light and oily texture, dry, bitter. Grapefruit and pine, floral. Enjoyable but not very complex. Best Beer of the Month selection in a long time.

12oz bottle poured into a wine glass. Hazy golden color with a small white head. Citrus nose, aroma of orange juice, faint malt and some flowery hops. Fruity and yeasty flavor, lots of hop flavor with high bitterness. Medium bodied and quite dry, lacks some maltiness but not bad.

Bottle, beer of the month club. Clear to hazy light amber, white head. Peach, papaya and floral aroma, floral and really bitter taste. Light-to-medium body, dry finish, light malty undertones. Good.

12 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC. Yellowish-orange pour with a frothy white head. Aroma of wet grass and pine, mostly, with faint notes of tangerine peel. Bitter grapefruit and pine flavor with light biscuity malts on the back end. Easy drinking yet a strong hop profile. Better than I remember Cottonwood’s version of Endo tasting like. A nice surprise.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy deep golden-orange color with a medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma with citrus and pine needles and a bit of cookie-ish malt. Flavor has some sweet maltiness and a lingering piney and grapefruity hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. Very pleasant.

Pint on tap @ Foothills. Lunch with Moms. Corbett is a great wait person. And a cutie pie. Pour: Orange hazy pour. Thick collar of short lived foam. Aroma: Lemony zest nose. Incredible fresh hoppy aroma. Taste: Fantastic! A fresh mouthfeel, medium body balances well with bitterness. Incredible with my Reuben and fries. Enjoyable not-too-sweet caramel body. The malt was just chewy enough. Overall: A great "middleweight" IPA. A lot of folks are dissing this brew. To each his/her own. Perhaps I just picked the right delivery vehicle. On tap from the brewery seemed to work out incredibly well. Great brew.
