Name: Carolina Endo
Date: September 02, 2012
Mode: Draft
Source: Foothills, Winston-Salem
Appearance: clear pale gold, creamy white head, heavy drippy lace
Aroma: huge citrus aroma on top of a crystalized candy malt base
Flavor: sweet citrus flavor, lots of crystal sweetness, robus bitterness keeps the sweetness in check while allowing the flovor hops to streal the show
Overall: close to the original but bigger on the citrus aroma and flavor hops, a nice improvement

Bomber from Beer Run. Pours a clear pale amber color with a medium sized white head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted caramel malts and herbal, floral hops. The taste is raw malt, earthy, vegetal and minty hops. Medium bodied, lingering hop bitterness, average carbonation. Decent.

22oz bottle, thanks to Jay. Poured in a pint. Malt-forward orange taste, not as hoppy as I’d like. Earthy, light lemon. Pronounced, moderate sharper carbonation. Mildly hazy yellow / orange color. Some sparse off-white head, leaves a bit of lace. Little floral. Medium bitter taste. Not the greatest IPA, but a nice one to enjoy with lunch.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy deep golden-orange color with a medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma with citrus and pine needles and a bit of cookie-ish malt. Flavor has some sweet maltiness and a lingering piney and grapefruity hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. Very pleasant.
