Clear medium brown body with a tall, off-white head. Sweet, nutty malt aroma. no hops. The flavor is sweet but a good crisp hop bitterness balances this out nicely. Decent, Iíve had many that were far worse and a few better.

Bottle. Clear, medium brown color with a decent tan head. Nice lace. Aroma. Is very similar to a pale ale. Taste has really good balance with a hoppy aftertaste.

Brown pour with a touch of red. Aroma is a touch of chocolate and a light roasty malt. Resiny hops. Flavor is roasted malt, light chocolate with a decent resiny bitter. Sweet start with a dry finish. Medium body with good carbonation.

Bottle. Pours brown, thin tan head. Aroma of nuts, chocolate malt, floral. Medium sweet roasty taste. Medium-light body, slightly above average carbonation, relatively sharp lingering bitter finish. Texture sticks. Overall an average brown ale, good for the purchase price of $7 for a 6-pack on sale.

Aromas of earthy hops and light chocolate. Clear ruby-brown with a mostly lasting khaki head. Dry, earthy, and a little fruity. Light-medium bodied with decent carbonation, and finishes balanced and clean.

Clear, bronze or copper, with a nice white head. Smells Very malty, lots of caramel and molasses, perhaps a hint of cola. Smooth and rich, lots of caramel and molasses. A bit of piney hops in the finish.

On tap at Foothills during my visit to my future city. Pours a murky mahogany with minimal head. Aroma has mild chocolate malt nuttiness and caramel. Flavor is dominated by pine hops. They cover the caramel and nutty malt flavors way too much. Stinging unpleasant finish. I like my brown ales roasty and toasty, not hoppy.

Pours a dark copper with creamy head. Aroma of caramel, bread, and a bit of nuttiness. Taste is very bland. A little sweet toffee and slight bitterness, but mostly water. Could drink quite a few due to the wateriness, but that isnít a compliment. Pretty disappointing brown ale from Cottonwood. Iíd expected more after I heard Foothills took over there brewing operation.
