Clean copper gold pour with one finger of off white head. Spicy nose with a nice biscuity/toasted grain character. Grainy and lightly herbal in the flavor with some spice coming through for sure.

Maybe a bad pour/batch. But not a superstrong pumpkin ale. The elements were there, but just was not balanced well. Too much cinnamon too, and flat taste. Iíll pass over for better pumpkin options.

Appearance: clear copper, fine beige head
Aroma: big pumpkin spice aroma, lots of cinnamon and nutmeg but not too much of either
Flavor: sweet caramel malt flavor, plenty of cinnamon but tempered by the sweetness, hint of pumpkin, other spices round it out
Overall: a lot bigger and more assertive on the spices than the original, now it just needs more pumpkin

At the brewpub for $3 pints, and started out with this one. My first (and probably only) Pumpkin Ale of the season. Came out a deep dark orange, with a nice frothy cap. The nose is sweet with pumkin spice, nutmeg, cinnamon - not surprising. Slick feel. Sweet pumpkin, that isnít as artificial-tasting as I remember. The pumpkin is also a little more subtle, but in its place there is an overwhelming spice profile, that isnít all that refreshing. All-in-all though, itís not a bad autumn drink, but I couldnít see myself having any more than 1 of these at a time, or even more than 1 in a season for that matter.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized fizzy tan head. Average head retention. Aroma of vibrant spices including ginger, some citrus, pumpkin and a mild glue note. The taste is earth, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, doughy malts and a tart finish. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
