3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber color with a white head. Aroma contains caramel, cinnamon, allspices. Think pumpkin flavored stuff. Very similar to an amber ale without the spice. Easy drinking and not overdone on spice.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear, muted orange with hardly any head. The aroma is bright and sweet. Lots of nutmeg and pumpkin. It’s all vaguely synthetic smelling, but it doesn’t smell bad at all. Kiinda like a pumpkin scented candle. The flavor is rich and slightly sweet. More of that pumpkin flavor that seems artificial but not unpleasant. I won’t have another one, but I didn’t mind this.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Overwhelming spice and underwhelming pumpkin. Might have been more tolerable a bit warmer on a cool fall evening- just doesn’t taste like spring. Pours a decent copper color with a small head (actually looked great). Nose is all spice. Too much nutmeg and a bit sharp with the ginger. A bit of an unpleasant sweetness as well. I prefer to have beer with a slice of pumpkin pie- rather than the two -in-one package as offered here.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
At the brewpub for $3 pints, and started out with this one. My first (and probably only) Pumpkin Ale of the season. Came out a deep dark orange, with a nice frothy cap. The nose is sweet with pumkin spice, nutmeg, cinnamon - not surprising. Slick feel. Sweet pumpkin, that isn’t as artificial-tasting as I remember. The pumpkin is also a little more subtle, but in its place there is an overwhelming spice profile, that isn’t all that refreshing. All-in-all though, it’s not a bad autumn drink, but I couldn’t see myself having any more than 1 of these at a time, or even more than 1 in a season for that matter.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A: Pumpkin. spice. cinnamon.
A: looks ok. Brownish amber color. Little head.
T: Tastes alright. A little weak. Pumpkin is hardly noticable. Lots of spice. Finish is dull.
P: A little dull. Thin. Not bad... too spicy.
Overall this is an ok beer. Pumpkin beers are always a little hit and miss... mostly miss. This is an alright easy drinking beer but nothing special.

Poured from a cold bottle. Clear orange color, small fizzy white head. Smells off nutmeg and cinnamon. Watery hops flavor with a strong nutmeg addition, light bodied crisp beer.

Bottle. Light orange color. Small head, no lace and lots of tiny bubbles. Aroma is typical pumpkin ale, not as strong. Taste, also typical pumpkin ale but kind of bland.

Well, it smells nice, I’ll give it that. Actually, that’s a little too dismissive - It’s really not bad, in the context of pumpkin beer. There is some depth and real beer character, as well. Nice citrusy hop bite cuts through the heavy spices.

From a 12 bottle served in Buxton NC. Pumpkin pie spice aroma. Pours orange gold with an off white head. Flavors of cinnamon, cloves and allspice with a hint of ginger. Malty with a crisp dry finish.
