COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cold winters. Hot summers. Between, always the promise of spring. Germans crafted a beer for such days, one that mirrors the sweet fragrant taste of nature reawakening. Foothills Maibock stays faithful to the spirit and essence of this seasonal golden lager, with pleasant malty overtones and a spicy crisp finish.

This is by far my favorite beer from Foothills. It pours a gorgeous clear orangey amber with minimal head and a sweet citrus aroma. It’s very alcoholic, pretty sweet, and very delicious.

Clear golden pour with a moderate white head. The aroma is very malty and slightly sweet. The taste is sweet malty caramel, with a hint of citrus, and mild hop presence. Balanced and smooth. Good beer.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with an average white head that holds well enough. Aroma is bready, biscuit, grass, hay, a very faint citrus, sweet lager. Taste is heavier than the aroma, bread, hay, grass, a weak sweet oj like citrus note. Great mouthfeel, very drinkable like the style should be. Very solid session beer that has something to it.

22 ounce bottle thanks to Seth for sharing. Light fruity flavors and some malt sweetness. Ok overall. Not very big in flavor.

Bottle. Clear, dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is full of grains with hints of sweetness. Taste is well balanced with just a tad too much sweetness.

Bottle. Pours clear orange white head. Nose and taste of toasted biscuit, light fruit, honey malt and light peppercorn. Lighter medium body.

Shitty hay nose, peas, lemony accents. Clear amber, thick head. Cleaner on the palate, still hay, but with a grassier note on the back end. Slightly bready. Light body. I have to be in a special mood for bocks, now is not one of those times, but I’m trying to objective.

Bottle. Gorgeous looking, if standard visuals for "beer" ... copper/bronze, quite active, with a nice head. The aroma is enormous "lager" ... malty and sugary all the way. But this drinks with a rich balance, with an admitted hint of some really bad malt liquors lingering in the forefront, but much better finessed and delivered. Fun. (#5562, 6/23/2014)

22 oz bomber. Yellow colored pour with a white head. Smell is fruity, malty, a little bit of hops. Taste is similar, kind of watery and has a bit of an alcohol burn. Pretty good beer.
