Found this in the Charlotte airport. Nice brew. Pale orange in color. Nice mouth feel. Decent floral aroma. Quite hoppy. A bit too astringent for me. The bitterness also takes over on the end. It’s a really good but not mind blowing IPA.

hoppy, astrigent and super dry. IBU 70. Had on tap at dajio in Ocracoke- best (and most local) choice on tap. Pours a perfect orange colour with a thin head. Nose is grapefruit and citrus- enough to make your nose tickle. Hops are the west coast C’s that never get old- more citrus, less pine. good finish- good when colder, starts to be a bit much on its own or when it warms to room temp. guess I should have consumed faster. really solid IPA. foothills is quickly becoming my favorite NC brewery- between people’s porter and this offering.

A pretty good IPA. The color is hazy orange, thee’s a medium, brief head. The aroma is a little muted, but the hops are there. They’re stronger in the taste. Darn strong, in fact, with a bitter, piney, west coast hops burn that never offers anything surprising but never gets old, either.

Floral, tropical fruits. Can be a little too piney, hop heavy in the finish for me. Still a great IPA.

Over carbonated with a great deal of froth. Smells like soap, and has a strong piney, resinous, and slightly earthy/dank. Has hints of grapefruit and orange rind.

Really liked this one. Color was orange/amber. Aroma was a bunch of grapefruit hoppiness. Flavor was all hop including grapefruit and nicely astringent. Finished bone dry. Very refreshing, very enjoyable.

On draft at Jakes on Zmain in Danville VA. Pours a hazy light amber with a thick off white head. Citrus hop aroma. Flavors of grapefruit zest. Nice and refreshing bitter finish.

Pours gold, small high carbonation off-white head. Aroma of fruity hops (pineapple?) with flowery background and small amount of pine scent. Taste starts with smooth pine resin which resonates into gentle bitter flower and pineapple hops that punches into complex hops with wood flavors. Finish of tangy bitter citrus fruit, aftertaste of sharp wood and gentle bitter citrus . Aroma is forest-like. Would be perfect in NC head.
