Draft at the DC Craft Beer Festival. Poured a dark orange/amber color with a small white head. Aroma aws notes of hops, pine, some tropical fruits. Flavor was a bit of pine, some citrus, a touch earthy however, a bit too malt heavy.

Nice copper color with fizzy head. Aroma of mainly fruit/earthy/caramel tones not so much citrus (nice change). Flavor is a nice bitterness but not overly so. Notes of fruit, pine, grapefruit. Mouthfeel is a solid bitterness and carbonation is average. Overall solidly great beer.

As advertised, very hoppy, but not crazy hoppy. The aroma didn’t come off as an IPA, so the taste was surprising.

Heavy citrus taste up front with a hoppy dry finish. Strong NC IPA that is up there in flavor. On of the best aromas in in IPA. Worth drinking! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice clear medium amber with a hint of red. Ample head and a lacing that lasts. Nice nose of citrus hops over a slight pine and slight sweet biscuit character. Light body with a smooth texture. Above average carbonation. Nice balanced taste of hops, mostly citrus but with a notable pine influence, biscuit and bitterness. It begins with citrus, progresses to pine and associated pleasant bitterness over a biscuit sweetness. It then effervesces into a tart bitterness that approaches dry. A slight sweetness and tart bitterness lingers. Very well balanced and flavorful.
