Reviewed from notes. Pours a nice amber color with a single-finger of white head that recedes somewhat quickly without really leaving behind all that much lacing. The nose is citrus and pine hops, although they aren’t terribly present. A bit of malt. The taste is slightly bitter and provides a hint of the hops, but not too much there. Slight bitterness in the feel. Not bad, but a pretty average IPA. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-11-2010

3/31/11. Bomber thanks to emacgee! Hazy orange pour with a huge khaki head that lasts and laces a ton. Sweet citrus and floral hop aroma with a hint of caramel malt backing. Smooth floral hop flavor (was hoping for even more citrus/grapefruit) with a solid malt backing and a nice dry/bitter kick at the end. Nice!

Bottle provided by Mike, drank into my Hill Farmstead glass... Looks great, a dark clear peach with a big bright white head. Good thing cap with great lacing. Looks awesome!!!... Boring aroma of light toffee and hops, generic. Staleness to it... Taste is average at best, soapy boring hops, chemical bitterness, no malt balance. Average ipa that can be skipped.

Bottle from the brewpub. Thanks to LuckyDog. Vibrant copper color, clear, good label. This came off more as a PA. Dry, not very resinous, a little fruit, earthy. A good solid mouthfeel without being too weighty or clingy.

Bottle... Clear orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. The bouquet is a touch perfumey, but mainly showcases resiny, fruity hops. Medium-bodied and a bit watery with modest carbonation. Not all that bitter, but there is lots of hop flavor here. Fantastic balance, but a smidge thin. Crisp, watery, lightly abrasive finish. Kudos to dosbeerigos for sharing the bottle!

Courtesy of rayl101. Brilliant copper, minimal head. Aroma has some caramel, oxidation, not much else, faint fruit. Flavor much the same, no flaws, just boring.

Pours a clear copper with a nice head that dissipates to a small ring around the outside. No discernable hop aroma. Flavor much the same. No hops. Very dissappointed, heard nothing but good things about it. Too bad.

Bottle: The aroma is not very IIPA-like...or even IPA-like. It has some light caramel and fruit with a touch of grassiness. It pours a transparent amber with a small yellow tinged off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with some light caramel and a touch of fruit. The finish has some grassy and floral hops. Nothing IIPA about this...more or less a Pale Ale. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Clear, dry, copper hue. Hoppy, light-bodied. Decent NC offering. I’d have another.
