Bomber from Santa (JCB). Pours clear golden orange with a white head. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, caramel malts, and some hops. Flavors of grapefruit citrus, caramel malts, and some hop bitterness. Finishes crisp and refreshing. Enjoyable but lacking the hop bitterness I was hoping for. More of a solid APA.

22 oz. bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop Ar: Enticing citrusy hop nose, mild pine. Very fresh smelling, although I don’t know the bottle date. Ap: Pours a clear copper with a creamy manila head. Decent head retention, moderate lacing. T: Mild caramel malt sweetness, somewhat dry. The finish is piney but also just slightly metallic. P: Medium body with pretty moderate carbonation makes this a pretty good session IPA. O: Solid IPA, not terribly interesting.

Not really doing it for me, the finish reminds me of the flavor of bitter yuck. Now dont get me wrong I love hops and hoppy beers but too much bitter to hop flavor in this one

On tap at Mellow Mushroom, Asheville. Mild hop aroma, bit of malt sweetness but overall not much going on in the nose. Medium dark amber clear with no head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Dry bitter hoppy character with a little bit of pale malt sweetness. Big hops finish and after.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a large creamy white head. The nose is resiny citrus hops with slightly toasted bready malts. The flavor shows a decent bitterness coming from resiny, mild citrus hops. Toasted bread with hints of caramel with an earthy finish. A decent straight forward IPA from Foothills.

22 ounce from Weinhaus in Asheville. Malty with some pine and resin. Sweet body and finish. Nice, but maltier than I’d want.
