Very good combination of aroma and flavor without high alcohol typical of this style. Much better body and mouthfeel that other high profile "session" IPAs I have tried.

On tap at the Bier Garden. It poured a clear, amber/orange color with a white head. The aroma was of grapefruit with grassy hop notes and a caramel base. The taste was similar with a medium body and slightly oily texture with some lively carbonation.

On tap at rucker johns in emerald isle nc. This is a light amber hazy brew with a thick head of white foam. Nose is strong and sharp with pine and grapefruit. Taste is tangy hops over a good malt base. Body is silky and full. Finish is a good lingering hop presence.

Pours dark orange with a thin carbonated head. The best part about this beer is the body with a nice blend of citrusy hops. However, it finishes with strong notes of caramel and is quite carbonated. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very nice IPA. Some citrus and grapefruit with bitter pine to close. Bready backbone is a bit weak and the sweetness has a bit of breadiness to it.

Worthy amount of yum in hoppyum. Richly flavored, malt-wise and hop-wise. Malt flavors are cakey, cookie-like and doughy. Nice amount of sweetness. Hops are green, grassy and citrusy. Good balance. Finishes a little sticky, but not too bad. Hop profile is fantastic. Tasty stuff.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a fluffy 1 finger white head and some floaties. Aroma is dank, piney, dusty and citrusy. Taste follows suit but shows the fruit off a little more. Lots of orange, lemon and grapefruit. Juicy and light with moderate carb. Really drinkable.

Bottle on 5/914. Pours a mildly cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is faintly hoppy. Taste is malty, sweet, nutty, and some fruit, bitter towards the end. A bit more bready than a lot of IPAs I’ve had recently. Without looking it could pass as a hoppy red ale. Its nice.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is nice grapefruit citrus hops with some pine notes mixed in. Maybe a really light malt but overpowered by the hops. Appearance is a golden with an amber hue and a medium white head that diminishes quickly. Taste has got a nice grapefruit hop note with very light malts. Palate is bitter with a hop note in the aftertaste. Tasty just not stellar. Cheers!
