Picked up one of these yesterday at the Frisco Sandwich Shop in Frisco, NC while on vacation. I canít give a description of the appearance since it was consumed out of a bottle and describing the taste (didnít take notes) wonít be easy but I recall nice pine notes in both the aroma and taste. There was also a mild sweetness. Overall this beer was much better than I expected and better than your run of the mill IPA. If I get a chance to pick up another this week I will update this review but it was decent.

Bottle share. Pours orange and topped with a modest sandy head. Aroma is hoppy, floral and pine. Lightly sweet. Taste is modest with bitters and a little overly malty sweet.

12oz bottle from ??? at bottle share. Golden pour with a short tight head. Aroma greets you with flowery, piney hoppiness. Hops continue on in the taste, more dominant than the malt backbone hiding in the background. Pretty well balanced brew..

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, unreadable bottle code on the neck. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/sticky/resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Probably over 6 months old judging by the protein cloudiness, but was still very enjoyable.

I think maybe this beer was spoiled, only had 1 bottle so Iím not sure. Upon uncapping this 12 oz. beer, it began foaming out despite no agitation. The color was diminished by a presence of a chunky population. Will have to try this another time.

12oz bottle from ck1, thanks bro! Pours a copper color with white lace, great cling. Big grassy fruit nose. Some citrus. Taste is big pine. Fruit, citrus, light caramel. Well carbonated. Finishes sweeter than bittersweet. Tasty and solid. 13.7

Tap. Clear bright straw, white head. Citrus, some slight pine, fairly bright on the more grapefruit end of the hop spectrum. Leaner malt backing. Old school, and not horrible. Just not great.

Pour is a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is of pine hops with a large English malt presence. Flavor is sweet at first but not overly so. The next thing you notice is the English malt. Iím thinking maris otter or golden promise. Hops take a back seat but are there to give some pine fresh flavor. Even though this has all American hops this is way more English IPA with the heavy malt base.
