Cloudy straw color, small off white head. Aroma is floral and a bit fruity. Taste has a strong tropical fruit character but finishes with this strange tart sweetness that kind of ruins the beer for me.

Full blown orange pour with a nice white head and solid lacing. Lovely looking. Aroma was decent and of oranges and grapefruits. Flavor followed with some solid resinous bitterness under it all and some spicing. Mouthfeel was moderate to fill and amply carbonated. Nice job foothills. Oh, and did you know that in TN if you think you don’t need the plastic bag when departing the liquor store, the clerk will let ya know you do? Apparently an open top six pack must be in the bag. So much for the hippie green side of me.

Bottles. Well, nearly ten years after leaving W-S I returned to the south to find that Foothills has made quite a name for themselves. This almost there but a pretty heavy malt profile that makes me want to move on to something else. Piney and grassy but very full bodied and malty.

Pours a dark golden. Aromas are pine hops.. But as it warms more citrus and tropical notes emerge. Flavors are sweet and fruity, corn syrup, pineapple. A nice smooth hop finish.
