3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Aurelius (3146) - Tallahassee, USA - MAR 23, 2011
Bottle from the brewpub. Thanks to LuckyDog. Vibrant copper color, clear, good label. This came off more as a PA. Dry, not very resinous, a little fruit, earthy. A good solid mouthfeel without being too weighty or clingy.

Bottle. Pours golden amber with white head. Nose/taste of dank hops, wet grass, caramel, citrus, pineapple and pine. Body on the thinner side. Grassy bitter finish.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 HighWine (511) - Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Tap in a Weizen glass at Charlotte Airport. Golden pour with a sticky white head. Good lacing. Buttery cut-grass fragrance. Taste is buttery and mildly hoppy (considering what I was expecting). The hops are bitter and "citrus" without any distinct characteristics. Thin palate. I didn’t expect much when i ordered this and was pleasantly surprised by the high ratings. Unfortunately it doesn’t live up to the scores in my opinion. Weak, moderately flavored brew that looks good. Not even a good pale ale.

Very nice and slightly offbeat IPA. Slightly ruby tinged gold in color with a strong hop, slightly resiny aroma. Meatier in the mouth than usual, headed towards a double IPA but still clean and drinkable. Nice stuff. Thanks jsanda.

Pours deep, clear amber into a Sam glass. White head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sweet candy corn and resin aromas. Medium bodied with sweet toffee and caramel upfront turning to resin in the lasting finish.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bmerz (233) - New York, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Bottle. Was expecting much more hoppy but it is a quite dry restrained clean IPA. It’s clear gold with some head and lace. The aroma is clean floral sweet citrus with grass and toasted grain. It tastes mostly bitter grapefruit and a little pine with the an english grain aspect strongly pronounced. It’s light and dry and with clean finish. It’s an easy drinking assertively but not aggressively hopped IPA. Quite nice.

A beautiful floral hop aroma. Really smells great. Had too few hoppy beers on my trip. This is immediately hoppy yet creamy as well. Quite enjoyable. A strong bitter-hop finish that’s just a tad too intense. Only real complaint. Great.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 tmongoose (430) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 7, 2012
bomber, orange color with white frothy head. some citrus in the aroma but the flavor burst with citrus orange and grapefruit flavors. not as bitter as you would expect quite smooth. so the aroma and flavor differ in that respect but this is a very good ipa..
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 CPDalton (47) - Boone, North Carolina, USA - MAY 7, 2012
On tap. Dark orange pour, sticky head. Bright floral hoppy tones in the nose, smells fresh. Taste is a thick hoppy bite, followed by a malt and biscuity flavor. Low carbonation, easy drinking, nothing special but a good local beer.
