Draft @ Hickory Hops 2011, Hickory, NC. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy grassy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter piney grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of grapefruit in the aftertaste.

Some hop aroma. Amber golden coloured and hoppy with a little bitterness in a crisp and dry malt finish.

on tap @HopfestNC-pours a retaining off white head and gold color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops (cascade). Taste is sweet citrus hops (cascade)-slight bitterness, faint medium malt. OK/mild carbonation.

Bottle... Clear orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. The bouquet is a touch perfumey, but mainly showcases resiny, fruity hops. Medium-bodied and a bit watery with modest carbonation. Not all that bitter, but there is lots of hop flavor here. Fantastic balance, but a smidge thin. Crisp, watery, lightly abrasive finish. Kudos to dosbeerigos for sharing the bottle!
