Orance/amber pour w/ small white head. Sweet fruitiness like pear and pineapple along with resinous pine. Med carb - crisp and smooth mouth. Tastes of caramel and fruit w/ a strong pine hop finish. Nice balance w/ some grapefruit in the finish. Very nice IPA w/ great balance.

Bottle enjoyed in OBX 2016 vacation. Orange pour, white fluffy head. Caramel malts with some orange zest on the nose and tongue. Centennial hops are notable with a floral presence, also some pine and zip. Sweet but well balanced. I would have thought this was imperial. Pretty good.

Sweet citrus and tropical fruits, orange, passion fruit, pine. Hazy gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More juicy tropical fruits, sweet papaya and mango, passion fruit, immense bitterness emerging, grass, some floral hops, pine, lively carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice IPA, what a surprise find in an airline lounge! Bottle at Admiral’s Club, Charlotte, NC.

Smell of hop, nut, banana. Drink from bottle, art on sticker looks cheap but it tastes better than its look. Taste of hop, sweet, bitter and fragrant. Pretty good overall.

Bottle share. Pours orange and topped with a modest sandy head. Aroma is hoppy, floral and pine. Lightly sweet. Taste is modest with bitters and a little overly malty sweet.

12oz bottle from ??? at bottle share. Golden pour with a short tight head. Aroma greets you with flowery, piney hoppiness. Hops continue on in the taste, more dominant than the malt backbone hiding in the background. Pretty well balanced brew..

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, unreadable bottle code on the neck. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/sticky/resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Probably over 6 months old judging by the protein cloudiness, but was still very enjoyable.

I think maybe this beer was spoiled, only had 1 bottle so I’m not sure. Upon uncapping this 12 oz. beer, it began foaming out despite no agitation. The color was diminished by a presence of a chunky population. Will have to try this another time.
