3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 rangerred (663) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - MAR 12, 2012Had on tap.
Appearance is a hazy light to medium yellow with a fizzy white head.
Smells strongly of clove and bubblegum with a little bit of pineapple.
Flavor is clove, banana, and bubblegum. There is a moderate pineapple taste as well which is quite refreshing. One downside would be the mouthfeel is quite watery.
Overall is pretty tasty hefe. Just a little more body would make for a perfect summer thirst quencher.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kinz (2973) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Beer 51 Asheville trip. Cloudy yellow, slight head. Aroma is lightly of wheat, bit of clove. Flavor is wheaty, slight clove, slight banana, hint of bubblegum - appropriate to the style, but wish it had been ramped up a bit more. More banana than anything else. Too bad, I had really hoped for an awesome hefe on the trip.
2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Travlr (8002) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Draft at the source. Cloudy pale yellow color, thick white head. Aroma of banana bubblegum. Taste is buttered popcorn, odd.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 magsinva (609) - Virginia, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Tap at universal joint - pours a cloudy yellow orange in the dim pub light with a white head. Aroma is banana, bubblegum, and clove. Taste leans sweet, palate crisp finishes thin. Overall, solid hefe, though not spectacular.

Pours cloudy and golden with a moderate head. I get a slight citrusy smell off it and a somewhat wheaty taste. Definitely pairs well with the slice of lemon they served it with.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 changeup45 (1560) - Mount Dora, Florida, USA - JUL 12, 2012
Draft at Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria in Asheville. A hazy yellow-gold color with a thick creamy head on top. This is light-bodied with wheat, banana, and clove flavors. A light herbal spice joins in but it’s a touch thin. Definitely a good choice for the summer though; thirst quenching and pretty tasty.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 b3shine (2256) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Draft to pint. Looks good; golden and hazy with nice lacing. Smells pretty good too; yeast with a zesty citrus scent (which could be the orange slice it was served with too). Tastes decent; could have a little more zip on it though. Docked for feel because it’s lacking hefe kick. Still decent though.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tkrjukoff (3362) - SWEDEN - JUN 10, 2012
Tap at the brew pub. Pours cloudy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is weak to medium acidy dry fruity a bit yeasty. Flavor is almost sour, acidy, thin body, a bit yeasty, fruity citric and fairly bitter. Finishes bitter acidy. Darn good summer brew, would like to see this brewed with fresh raspberries.

Draft pint. Hazy straw-gold with a small lasting disc of foam. Nose is dry cereal, light lemon and spicy yeast. Taste is lemony wheat, bubblegum and clove-banana. Light-medium body has medium carbonation and is well balanced.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 24, 2012
Originally reviewed: 7/8/08. Had this on tap at Foothills. Nice cloudy deep golden color. Absolutely no head to this at all; just a little rim around the top. Smells very citrusy with a little clove and strong wheat/yeast. Very crisp clean taste. Can definitely find the strong yeast taste, but it mellows out as I drink this. Fairly smooth and balanced. Not a bad brew from the guys at Foothills. Refreshing.
