4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a chill hazed golden yellow from the bomber with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of resinous zesty hops, tropical fruit and citrus notes everywhere. Taste follows, big hoppiness, hints of biscuit malt. Wow, a really nice IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear orange color with off-white head. Aroma has earthy, resiny hops and citrus fruits, mostly grapefruit. Taste starts with some citrusy sweetness and gets increasingly bitter towards the aftertaste. Body is medium with good carbonation. Really nice, well done IPA overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Bob for my birthday. Clear orange yellow color. Good rocky off-white head, nice lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Nice bigger bitter taste, light zesty sweetness. Good bigger grapefruit hop, light spiciness. Some caramel malt. This is an impressive, citrusy grapefruity IPA.

Great stuff. Bob was told to look for it, and brought some back and shared. We didnít succeed in finding it when I was down south in bottles. Pine + tropical notes in the nose. Gold, nice lace pattern + slight haze. Full juicy palate, tastes of pineapple and citrus. Dry finish. Really well made, all stages work well together.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at Scion in Silver Spring, MD.
Hazy, golden color with a khaki head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit and toasted grain.
Taste of citrus, tropical fruit, toasted grain and a delicious hop flavor I can't describe.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
An excellent IPA. The hops dominate, but do not overwhelm. This one is neither a citrus bomb nor a huge tropical fruit IPA. Both are there, but other hop elements round it out beautifully.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle, consumed on 10-10-15. Pours a highly effervescent, clear orange-gold with a moderate amount of cream-to-beige colored head. Produces good lacing. Good-looking beer. Fresh aroma features scents of honey, orange, orange peel, and white grape juice. A touch of dryness in the aroma. Highly appealing smell. Sharp, fruity-hoppy taste. Flavors of apricot nectar and green grape. Honeyed taste. Juicy and tangy (not in a sour way). Vanilla and a touch of gym bag. Reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc or even a Chardonnay. Rose petals and a light touch of booze. Nice, dry, bitter, almost medicinal aftertaste. Medium body. Lively and smooth in the palate. Not particularly noteworthy palate effects. A lot going on in the flavor. This is a darn good IPA for sure; well above average. Well-made, complex, and really impressive. Normally, fruity/juicy IPAs are not my favorite, but this one is so well done that I canít help but like it a lot. That said, the juiciness wears on me just a bit after many sips, costing the beer a point on the overall score.

Very good IPA. A touch of alcohol and citrus and sweetness compliment some good bitter hops. Medium body. Great aroma. A touch of grapefruit and enough malt to keep it moving past just bitter. Smooth for the strength and bitterness. Hits the front and sides of your mouth. Cascade and citra and jade hops.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber from markdown bin.
Date not decipherable but I assume itís well past peak freshness.
Standard pint glass.
A: 1" heat atop medium gold body. Light amount of bubbles and nice lacing left.
S: Light citrus scent with strong malty background. Light overall but beer is very cold. Something lightly musty also detected and it is not altogether pleasant.
T: Sour citrus bitterness is the main driving force. Slight toastiness follows. FInishes with nice dry bitterness. Slight booziness to me but I normally drink much lighter brews.
M: Crisp and clean with a slight oiliness. Lighter overall than expected.
O: Pretty good I guess but canít say Iím terribly impressed. As noted, this bottle is likely quite old so this warrants another review to be fair.

Tap. Gold and tight frothy head. Very good lemony and tropical citrus. Biscuity malts are there to support but very well crafty.

Sample at Thirsty Monk. Pours a clear golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
