On tap at Thirsty Monk. Hazy light copper pour with thin white rig. Aroma of citrus and pine. Very bitter. No sweet malts to balance it. Very rough. A bit dry. One of the worst IPAs I have had.:

Pours a clear gold color with decent lacing and head retention. Smells lemony and piney with similar taste qualities. This is a really good beer!

Draft at Norfolk Taproom. Pours a mostly clear light golden yellow color with an off white head. Aroma has a great hoppy presence, with nice fleshy fruit and pine. Same in the flavor. Puts hoppyum to shame. Very nice.

My wife described it as a flavor punch in the mouth. Great hoppy bite. Great taste best IPA Iíve had in a while

Undated bomber. Pours a clear gold colour with frothy white head. Nose is tame, hoppy, citrus, pine and flowers. Taste is somewhat muted, very balanced. Nice bitterness. Citrus and pine. Bitter finish. Has a sort of herbal character that is really unique. Good, not great.

Had this on tap at my favorite bar in Norfolk. Huge dank aroma, grassy and floral with some citrus as well. Pretty dry actually, one of the dryer IPAís Iíve had in a while. Taste is big and hoppy, and on the first sip thereís a nice pop of hop bitterness. Overall a really good beer from Foothills. They really donít have a bad beer at all, definitely try this one. Cheers

no date on the bottle, just a mystery code. didnít seem fresh - if it was, I really ainít seeing 97th percentile. average beer, below average ipa. light spicy and citrus forward hops and too malt prevalent. didnít care for it much.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and tropical fruitiness, some citrus - light piney hoppyness, light alcohol. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and tropical fruitiness, some citrus/piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and fruitiness, some citrus/piney hoppyness, light alcohol. Too much alcohol considering the body - could use more bitterness and body to balance alcohol.

Bomber from Samís in Durham, NC. No date! Oh well, I trust that it was bottled no more than 48 hours before I purchased it. The appearance is near perfect - a beautiful golden orange with a large, frothy white head and lacing thatís freaking LIFE-CHANGING!!! Seriously Iím a new man after seeing that lacing. Daaaayyyyuuuum! The aroma is good. Tropical fruits and citrus, maybe passionfruit and tangerine. The flavor is balanced, slightly east coasty but with a good hop kick. The balance is solid. Nice and oily on the palate with medium body. Gotta love IPAs. This is a good one.
