Beer 48 Asheville trip. I had actually seen but never ordered this one at several places in Asheville proper, figured I would probably find it at the brewery on the way home. Sure enough, there it was. Pale orange gold appearance. Aroma is citric hops. Flavor is very light biscuit malts, with a clear hop focus of grapefruit and lemongrass. Nicely done.

I enjoyed a pint of this beer at the brewpub in Winston-Salem. The beer had a light copper-amber color, and was somewhat clear, with a big foamy white head that had average retention, cling, and lacing. Its aroma featured a mixture of big notes of citrus, pine, grass, and some spices. The taste was dominated by a citrus and grassy bitterness, with lighter pine and spice notes. It had an average-density body and was fairly dry with a touch of creaminess and modest carbonation.

Pint at Brewpub. Real good aroma, sweet. Citrus, peach, apricot. Biscuity too. Tad hazed golden orange color. Good head that faded to a ring, minor lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, bitterdry finish. Darn good , aroma my favorite part, citra and jade are nice. Flavor more grapefruit. Very easy to drink.

Soft light blonde pour with one finger of off white head. Nose is dry and zesty with a lightly citrusy character and lots of crushed black pepper. Resinous and oily with a very green/fresh hop character and notes of citrus and a lightly spicy character. Dry and light bodied.
