Draft pour, looking a nice bright hazy yellow with a firm white head. Nose was huge citrus--lemon and grapefruit as well as tart orange with a spiciness that showed itself on the tongue. Some tropical notes. Hoppier than expected, in a wonderful way. Citrus, fruit, and pepper, all well balanced in a full-bodied IPA. I could drink so much of this.

Very good IPA. A touch of alcohol and citrus and sweetness compliment some good bitter hops. Medium body. Great aroma. A touch of grapefruit and enough malt to keep it moving past just bitter. Smooth for the strength and bitterness. Hits the front and sides of your mouth. Cascade and citra and jade hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from markdown bin. Date not decipherable but I assume it’s well past peak freshness. Standard pint glass. A: 1" heat atop medium gold body. Light amount of bubbles and nice lacing left. S: Light citrus scent with strong malty background. Light overall but beer is very cold. Something lightly musty also detected and it is not altogether pleasant. T: Sour citrus bitterness is the main driving force. Slight toastiness follows. FInishes with nice dry bitterness. Slight booziness to me but I normally drink much lighter brews. M: Crisp and clean with a slight oiliness. Lighter overall than expected. O: Pretty good I guess but can’t say I’m terribly impressed. As noted, this bottle is likely quite old so this warrants another review to be fair.

Tap. Gold and tight frothy head. Very good lemony and tropical citrus. Biscuity malts are there to support but very well crafty.

Sample at Thirsty Monk. Pours a clear golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a dense and lacing white head with good retention. Spicy, almost gingery aroma. Rich, malty body, soft on the palate with the rough and very bitter hops coming out rather late. It’s a very bitter beer indeed and in a fresher state the hops would probably have been a lot crisper. But still a solid IPA. 290715

On draft at Krafty Draft in Lexington, SC. Smells yummy, lovely golden color. Light bodied. Unique hoppy flavor from the jade hops. Kinda lightly sweet, almost fruity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Clear golden body with a frothy white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of citrus, toasted grain, orange juice, lemon, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, water/velvety texture, lively carbonation. On the sweet side for an IPA, but so much tastier (to my current preferences) than a resin/pine bomb. Juicy at first, but turning thicker in the finish, like pulpy orange juice.

Pours golden Amber from draft with thin head. Beautiful Citrus aroma. Very light malty taste, not especially bitter though lingering aftertaste. Medium body. Light IPA, feels like a session IPA though not at 7.2%. Undoubtedly a quality brew but I prefer more flavorful beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
