Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured clear brownish color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Very nice. Malty. Some complexity in the flavor. Not very bitter. Good option.

Bottle. Perfect amber color. Aroma is praline and hints of can’t corn. Taste is slightly sweet "Payday" like with toast and a slight hoppy finish.

Sample at 201 Central. Dark amber in color. Aroma of honey, caramel, some coffee. Nice roasted malt up front with light bitter hops to finish. Very drinkable beer. Overall, it tastes like a less hoppy, sweeter version of their Hoppyum IPA.

Malt forward aroma. Toffee and hints of nuts. A dark amber pour with a quickly disappearing head and no lacing. The taste is mildly sweet up front with welcomed hop bitterness dominating the finish. Caramel and toffee with suggestions of nuts. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, this is a very drinkable Oktoberfest/Marzen. Would drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From tap at brewery. Wow, better then expected. Pours a deep amber color with thin head. Notes of nuts, malt and toffee. Taste follows and is well balanced. Very drinkable.

Poured a deep, clear amber with nice lace. Malty nose and in the mouth it is a ton of malty goodness.

A really good seasonal. This brewery is excellent. Really hearty and pours a dark red. Has a bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

There is an aroma of malts and hints of almonds. It is a darker amber color, but the head is not very strong. There is a pleasant combination of almonds, bread, caramel, and other flavors. It’s a pleasant combination.

draft poured dark orange with white head. nice malty aroma with what I thought initially a bit of cereal funky grainy, just a bit different and I couldn’t put my finger on it till I asked. the flavor was solid malty goodness and that sweetness which turned out to be toffee and roasted cashews and almonds nice little twist.

Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bottle. Pours a clear dark brownish-red with a one finger light tan head. Head fades rather quickly leaving reallly no lacing at all. Fruity/earthy aroma along with a good bit of caramel. I can detect some cocoa along with pear and apple. A little different than I was expecting. A quick shot of fruit up front in the flavor that is followed very quickly by cocoa and some caramel. Bitterness is on the light to moderate side but does linger through the finish. More toast and bread comes through at the end. Full and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, a decent oktoberfest but a slightly different take on the style. This one is on the fruity side with more cocoa than I was expecting. Not bad but not my favorite.
