On tap at barley’s downtown Asheville... Pours a deeper black stouty pour with reddish brown edges and topped with a thin to medium creamy light beige head that slowly recedes to a thin swirly film... Standard chocolate and lighter roast aroma. A touch thin even in aroma... Flavors are a combination of semi-bitter roasted grains and cocoa/chocolate. Nice semi-full consistency, mouth coating and enjoyable. Finishes on a muted semi-chalky base.
