Légère présence de pamplemousse en arrière goût. (Rating #2298) dkachur (2318), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Mar 4, 2009 Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a yellowish gold color with a medium head. Good head retention and fair lacing. Aroma is sweet malts and citrus hops. Taste is bitter, resiny hops with a slight tinge of pine and metal. Medium bodied, StFun (535), Indiana, USA Feb 18, 2009 Someone shared one of these with me at Pre-Sex, but I’m not sure who (maybe tjthresh). Not the biggest fan of Pale Ales, but it was good for what it was. Pours an yellowish-orange with a thin and swirling white head. Aroma is pretty nice, weak hops, sugar, candy, and bread. Flavor is dank hops and more candy, with a musky characteristic and just a touch of yeast. Very thin. tjthresh (1748), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Feb 8, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Pour is copper with a off white head. Biscuit malty with barely a pinch of hops detected in the nose. The flavor reveals some earthy hops with lingering bitterness. I found this to be very watery.
chandler0201 (341), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jan 20, 2009 Orange pour with decent sized head. Some caramels and hops, semi bitter finish. Decent. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Jan 19, 2009 Sample @ Foothills: Nice red-orange hue with bubbly head. Sort of a hop bomb I wasn’t expecting for just a pale ale. Aggressively hopped, aroma of toasted caramel malt. So flavorful, I was hard-pressed to believe it was under 5%. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Oct 27, 2008 Sample at the Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Poured a clear amber color with a one finger white head. Aroma of pine/resin and some citrus. Flavor was well balanced, with a piney finish.
