Foothillsí first high gravity beer may have you Seeing Double. The hops are balanced with just enough body to craft a highly drinkable brew. Expect a full body and a hint of citrus from the seven varieties of hops added to the brew. IBU: 126.

22 oz. bottle shared with Ian. Pours a light gold, with a medium, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is caramel, light floral notes, and a lot of melon and citrus notes. Flavor is very sweet up front, but with a significant bitterness through the finish. Light to medium body, acidic, syrupy, and sticky. Overall, this is a very sweet and aromatic IIPA.

Decent double IPA. Floral aromas. A little too malty for my liking. Good citrusy hop flavors.

On tap at the Mellow Mushroom in Gatlinburg. Tulip glass. A very hoppy beer. Nice finish. First taste really shocks the pallet with all those IBUs, but it has a nice smooth finish, and nice aroma. For a strong beer, it is easy to drink.

Bottle. Cloudy honey orange color. Aroma is light citra, floral, marmalade. Taste is unexpectedly sweet. The hops are there, but overwhelmed by sweet malts. Bitter? Hardly. 126 IBUís? Maybe 26. Itís good, but needs more hops flavor. Oh, and itís very smooth. Donít forget itís 9.4%!

Bottle from Jay with Willi. Pours a hazy gold with a nice lingering off white foam. Smells resinous of citrus caramel and sweet barley. Tastes sweet with alcohol, citrus and a hint of nuttiness.

Bottle thanks to jtclockwork. Pours clearish orange with white head, irregular lacing. Aroma: candied citrus (orange zest), resinous with caramel underpinning. Taste is moderately sweet with a rather bitter finish that lasts and lasts, but never seems to overcome the initial sweetness. Medium body, prickly carbonation.

22 oz bottle The D/IPA pours a cloudy light amber with a small head and no lacing. The ale a light resin ,citrus aroma. The taste was more complex with fruity pine and light bitterness. The high ABV was deceptive. This is a wonderful balance D/IPA with a warm bitterness from beginning to end. The medium body ale had soft carbonation. The smooth finish had lingering citrus bitterness that stayed in the upper mouth.
