Very dark head dissipated quickly. Black oil color. Aroma very subtle. Light on the palette. Bitter chocolate and toasted malt lingering aftertaste.

12 growler word to deadcat for bringing this back. Espresso is very upfront. Thick viscous texture. Bittersweet coffee and rich cocoa flavors. Lots going on here but all working well together. Smooths out a bit as it warms. Really nice.

Black. Nose is leather, figs, tobacco, chocolate, acrid roast, figs, sweet cherries. Flavor is chcolate, again leather, dried dates, acrid black malts. Rich and full bodied. Medium heavy bitter finish. Good.

This beer smells great but the flavor is outrageously good! Maybe a tad thin but the cocoa totally makes up for it. The cocoa flavor sticks with you long after the last sip and lasts forever. A little pricey at about $16 but would buy again.

On draft at Rustico in Arlington VA. Pours black with a tan head. Feint chocolate nose. Flavors of cocoa and tobacco with a bitter ashy finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at rustico, pours black with two fingers of tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is roast and chocolate, not sexual in any way though. Big robust stout, a medium roast and semi sweet chocolate finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I do really enjoy this beer; however, after a winter of bolder stouts, I think that Sexual chocolate's taste is just a little thin. It pours a beautiful dark brown. Smells good. Tastes of a little toffee, caramel and some wonderful chocolate. The slightest taste of toast is present. Overall, terrific imperial stout.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Traded bottle around two years old. Great looking pout with a big brown head that lasts forever and leaves thick lacing behind. Aroma is lots of dark fruit and dark malt and a hint of sweetness. The flavor starts out a little muted but then the chocolate and coffee shows up in the finish. Pretty nice.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft. The visuals live up to the advertisement ... thick, brooding and well topped with one of the darkest heads I’ve seen. Drinks with an almost gritty sense of overflowing chocolate, well bodied and exceptionally easy to drink. Little to no evidence of 10%, which is a plus in my book. Very, very good. (#5438, 2/15/2014)

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Two half pints on tap. Opaque with a small ring of cream. Mild aroma of chocolate, espresso, graham cracker and wood. Tastes of espresso, bitttersweet chocolate, berries, a touch of soy sauce, blackstrap molasses and hints of merlot and oak on the finish. Heavy body is smooth with a fine medium-high carbonation. Gets slightly sticky and shows a bit more of the abv than is necessary, but has a nice balance.
