crizay (1056), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Feb 21, 2008 Black pour, faint beige head. Aroma is chocolate, straight hersheys. Flavor is dry, chocolate, some espresso. Hoppy aftertaste, citrus hops, creamy yet bitter. Bittersweet chocolate, some caramel and a bit more coffee. Dry mouthfeel, bitter coffee, hoppy and a little chalky aftertaste. It’s good but I’m glad I didn’t buy into the hype, nothing seperates this from other imperial stouts.
