Elwood (665), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Nov 7, 2009 Serving: Draft.
Appearance: Light gold color with a small, foamy, white head.
Aroma: Light nose with notes of grass and a touch of grain.
Flavor: On the tasteless side with notes of malt, grain, and grass. Rather unspectacular.
Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a light, watery mouthfeel and a medium-short finish.
Overall: Skip this one. There are much better Pils out there to be enjoyed. Not recommended. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 1, 2009 Sampled at the 13th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Golden orange, white cover. Clean grassy and malt aroma. Taste is lightly fruity, grassy, clean pils. drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Sep 27, 2009 On draft. Clear crisp pilsner. Hard style to say yeah or nay to since I don’t care much for it. But for a pilsner, nice. nickd717 (1276), Palo Alto, California, USA Aug 31, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Golden-yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is grain, pilsner malt, and grassy hops. Flavor is bready pale malt and grain as well as some mild grassy hops. Palate light and crisp. Decent pils, but not too exciting. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 24, 2009 Draft at the brewery. Light golden with a small ring of bubbles. Aroma of sour grass and apple. Flavor is similar. Light medium body is watery and crisply dry on the finish. fredandboboflo (1395), East Setauket, New York, USA Jul 8, 2009 Tap at ACBF. Aroma of wood, berries, lemon, herbs, leafy hops. Flavor has many of the same notes with lots of resinous bitterness. Juicy and crisp. Powerful and luscious pils. wcampbell (572), Central, South Carolina, USA Jun 23, 2009 A solid pilsener. Lightly dry and crisp, typical pilsener flavor, but a little more full. Light grass and creaminess. Some biscuits and bread as well. Super drinkable. Not too light or watery. PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA Jun 22, 2009 Tap at ACBF 2009: Pale golden with a white film. Dry crackery pils aroma with a mild grassy character. Crisp body and a nice dry flavor. Crackery and very clean- lean but firm with solid saaz zest on the back. What a pils should be. Nice.
