On tap at Green Man, Asheville. Sweet beany notes, noble hops? with light sweet pilsner malt. Golden clear with no head. Medium body with medium-light carbonation. Sweet start with pilsner malt, mild honey, and a touch of grassy beanie hop bitterness. Fairly smooth with light carbonic acidity. Finished dry.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Fairly basic pilsner. Pours from tap straw colored without a lot of aroma. Taste is clean and fairly crisp. Didn’t get much hop character.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
on tap at Tribeca Tavern, Cary. Good aroma, bitter, grassy, sourdough lemon. Clean golden yellow color, small head that faded quick, spotty lace. Bitter flavor. Lite body, oily creamy mouthfeel, crisp bitter finish. Man this hit the spot after a warm day in the warehouse. easy to drink, pleasant to sniff, nice flavor, hits all the marks as far as i can tell.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured on tap into a shaker at the General Store Cafe in Pittsboro, NC. Light, yellow, and watery, this was perfect after a long day out-of-doors over Easter weekend. I expected the lemony bitterness that you find in other craft brewed pilsners, but was pleasantly surprised by the strong honey notes that filled the middle of the flavor profile. This is probably just about as good as an American pilsner can get, and is certainly a good lawnmower option, assuming that your lawn is situated somewhere in the American south.

goldenw ith large white head. nose of spicy saaz hops. some bitterness before a lot of munich sweetness before spicy hops. a lot of residual sweetness for the style leaves it surprisingly not very drinkable

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Reviewed from notes.
Pours a clear yellow color with visible carbonation bubbles and a white head without too much lacing as it goes down. Nose is some light grass and bread with a few hops. Light European hop character and grass in the taste. Light and crisp bit nothing too interesting.
Serving type: on-tap

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Foothills, Winston-Salem NC in July 2006. Mid gold colour. Decent balance of biscuity malt and tangy Saazy hops. Quite dry - the malt is maybe drier, thinner and less bready than the norm for a Bohemian style pilsner Fairly full bodied. Moderate bitterness. Clean and refreshing. Pretty enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at foothills, great white frothy head, a subtle hop aroma, a little weak hop taste, I would prefer a bit more hop character, still nothing wrong with this crisp later.

On draft. Light in color, gold with slight hazy center. Not a whole lot going on with the aroma, slight citrus and hops. Light in mouth feel with a hoppy flavor and a little bit of malt backing. Easy drinking beer.
