12 ounce bottle - Bullock’s Wine & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia. Appearance: Pours out a crystal clear, golden body with an inch or two of fluffed whitish froth. Smell: A little bit toasty atop the pilsner malts, scantly buttery and everso hinting of sweetness with some dried herbal, floral tones and touch of lemony citrus. Taste: A lightly toasty, pilsner-y maltiness with some touches of biscuit dough. Softly sweet with a small drip of golden syrup. Herbal, cheerfully flowery hops with an ample hop bite and tone of lemon segments. Finishes fairly clean, fairly crisp and with a little residual bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Foothills presents a nice, easy-going, refreshing brew.

Bottle. Nice pour into the glass with a decent head. Mild, pleasant aroma. Good taste with more flavor than what I was expecting.

Bottle. Light golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, bread, straw, floral hops, herbs. Hint of corn. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Linger bitterness. Clean, crisp, balanced and solid in both taste and aroma. A pleasant surprise that left me wishing I had brought home more than a couple of bottles.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold body under a one finger foamy white head that left a bit of lace. The nose is nice delicate Saaz hops over a clean bready pils malt base. The flavor has a nice crisp and clean Saaz hoppiness with a gentle bitterness. Very clean bready malt base that’s nicely dry. Light bodied with soft gentle carbonation and a lingering gentle hoppy finish. Pretty excellent Pilsner, can’t ask for much more than this, better than I was expecting.

Bottle at Wally & Brianna’s wedding. Light bodied but clean and not offensive. Clean malt, soft fresh bread, pale crisp wheat and soft grains. Nice wedding beer offering for sure.

Medium golden pour, with a white head and nice lacing. Aroma is grains, and some light nuttiness. Flavor is crisp like light bread, with nuttiness in the back end. Crisp. Easy drinker.

Bottle into Pilsner glass. Good looking pils w solid white head and straw body. Mild malt aroma. Taste more full bodied and flavored than average pils - pronounced malt, grass, mild citrus. Mild bitterness throughout. Decent beer but stretches the definition of traditional pils. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (Mellow Mushroom, Charleston SC, May 2015). Head is mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain/bread), moderately hoppy (honeysuckle flowers, herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Had bottles and draft samples of this in Raleigh NC the week before the Savannah/Charleston week of the trip, and this beer was just as impressive there too. Clean, great malty-hoppy balance, and pretty true to style as well. Great quaffer and enticing to sniff too. Could stand to be just a touch more bitter but I quibble about that for a number of Czech pils, and it’s hard to deny the lip-smacking malt character of this one. A solid pils that stood up to the test of repeated samples. Something I would buy in sixers at home if I could.
