3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from CBX. Super bright golden pour with a frothy white head. Aroma was bready, slightly spicy noble hop character. Nice. Flavors were so fresh and clean, spicy, noble hops, bready malt. Perfect, smooth bitter finish. Slightly sweet. Plus carbonation, light yet slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Great pils.

Herbal hop aroma. Crystal clear light gold color with fine bubble. Little lacing, no head. Taste is dominated by saaz hops followed by bitterness. A crisp, clean, well done czech pilsner. Would drink again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Looks like your classic beer- clear golden with a pillowy head with decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of cereal and honey with the sweetness cut by a dryness- maybe a hint of a vegetal smell. Flavor is lightly sweet, a touch grainy, then dry. Nice dry/lightly bitter finish, seems well-balanced, fairly high carbonation. A nice lighter beer.

From the bottle poured a deep golden brew with a generous white head. Medium/light bodied with aromas of malt and hops with hints of vanilla. Well balanced flavors of malt and hops. I like it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A bottle of this fine beer came to me courtesy of Durhambeer!
Pours a very pale golden, perfectly clear, with a very small head.
The aroma is herbal and "robustly" hoppy. The malt sweetness while noticeable is either very low or hidden by the spicer & more herbal hop character.
The flavor is mineral-y & enjoyably bitter. The hops are well featured and of course very saaz-y with nice notes of grass, herbs, and mild fruit skin. The beer is only lightly sweet and very bright.

Beer 45 Asheville trip. Clear light gold, nice head. Aroma is crackery pils malts and floral hops. Flavor is a match, quite clean, with a bracing floral and slightly spicy hop finish. Really quite fantastic. Love finding a well made pils. Really a great beer to have fresh like this. A favorite from the trip.
