COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Storms come and go, and in the end, thereís just a refreshing breeze. So with this shimmering golden wheat beer, the escape is sure to be fresh, cooling and sustaining. We start with a dry and creamy wheat beer, and add fresh botanicals and a splash of key lime juice for a tangy flavor with the delicious bite of ginger. The flavor is bright, layered, and thoroughly satisfying. This beer resonates with the Caribbean otherworldliness of the Florida Keys. Try it with your favorite Gulf Coast foods: jambalaya, fresh grilled fish, gumbo, barbecued chicken or maybe an oyster poíboy. COLOR: hazy gold MALTS: honey, caramel, lager, flaked wheat HOPS: light at 14 IBU, with New Zealand Motueka BOTANICALS: fresh key lime juice, ginger, honeybush, lemon myrtle ALCOHOL: 3.8% ABV BODY & MOUTHFEEL: creamy and refreshing with a sweet-tart balance SERVED: best served cool (40F/4C) in a capacious goblet, garnished with a modest wedge of grapefruit or sprig of fresh mint

12oz bottle from CBC. Pours white gold with a white head. Aroma is ginger, honey, lime. Flavor follows. Honey, wheat, ginger, lime. A touch sweet and over carved. Soda like. Itís like a Moscow Mule without the booze.

Thanks for the 12 oz. bottle share Willrunforbeer! Slightly halt golden color, thin head on top. Aroma is pure ginger root, nothing more.

Flavor is mostly earthy ginger. Malt light traces of malt. Medium body, normal carbonation level. It reminds me more of a ginger beer. Decent.

Nice light ginger forward beer that was balanced nicely with citrus and lime. Super drinkable not too overwhelming.

12oz bottle. Pours a pale hazy golden with a white head. One of the more enjoyable ginger beers I have had. It is subtle enough with the ginger and combines well with the lime and other flavors in this one. Surprisingly good given how mediocre some of the other beers from this brewery have tasted.

Poured from bottle at Forbidden Root in Chicago. White head on and orange body. Ginger heavy but doesn't overwhelm at all smooth. Good

Tap at cooperís, Chelsea. Pours hazy orange color, white head. Aroma is intense ginger, and some honey notes. Flavor is still lots of ginger, but toned down from the Aroma. Light wheat notes. Decent.

Aroma is ginger and hints of wheat and spices. The flavor is ginger/ginger ale, lemon, and a mildly sour finish.

Pour on tap, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, touch of lime, ginger, some slight herbal notes into a bit of floral, grassy hops, slight orange. Taste is a mix of caramel, bread, touch of ginger, lime, some spice, into a bit of grass, earth, finishing slightly spicy, slightly sweet.

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. The aroma is a very bright, fresh ginger, key west lime, honey, pepper, and some secondary notes of grass. Itís an oily looking beer with a slightly cloudy, honey color and a white, light, fizzy head that disappears to nothing with no lace left behind. The flavor is a medium sweet and medium-light bitter. Itís thin yet smooth and creamy with a fizzy carbonation and a light body. Lime and ginger flavors come through strong initially with a honey sweet touch, and it finishes with a peppery lime crispness. Itís clean with just a light, fresh grass and spice aftertaste.
