Oct 19, 2008 I wouldn’t have called it an alt, but maybe if it had been called an altbock when it was poured for me it would have worked better. Cloudy dark amber, sweet malts, a little herbal, balanced but not special.

Feb 10, 2005 Cloudy amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, light sour (lemon). Taste is medium sweet, caramel, fruity, some herbal/grassy. Light-medium body.

Jan 22, 2004 Dark amber appearance with a medium-size head. Fruity, sweet malt taste. Very smooth, with the hops evident, but subdued. Savory finish. A good altbier.
