2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear copper in color with a mild, sweet aroma of caramel malt, candy sugar, and bitter hops. Drinkable, and not too light on the palate. Still, it’s a kinda thin beer with little finish and no depth.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft - Pours a nice copper reddish color, with only a slight head. Had a sweet malt aroma. Light sweet malt flavor with slight hop notes. Not a bad lighter style beer.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, dark amber color. Smells like malt. Taste of malts and small amount of hops. Just to watery... not much going on here.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a medium copper color with a small slightly dense head. A light sweet caramel malt flavor with a slight tang citrus finish that lingers just a little. Soft carbonation and well balanced.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz - Clear dark orange, thin off white disappearing head. Toasted grainy caramel nose with a slight biscusity popcorn undertone. Light roasted caramel malt flavors are balanced on just a touch of earthy citric hops. Light bodied with a soft bittersweet finish. Not awful as the score might indicate, but nothing to write home about either. Probably better with food...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2012 Draft pint at Green Leafe Cafe. Bronzed amber with virtually no head and only barley carbonated. Light stealthy aroma (not much of one at all). Crisp and tangy with an apple-like bite, underlying caramel and a finish that’s mysteriously empty of flavor. The tangy bite lingers. This even-keeled beer was good with my patty melt. (#3146, 10/19/2007) <<Re-rated from a bottle ... much better body, decent head, and a good mouthfeel. Confirms that Green Leafe can serve old beer.>>

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a deep amber, with a slight white head. Aroma and flavor are primarily of light caramel malt, and a slight bitter hoppiness. The mouthfeel seemed a bit flat. Not bad, but not great either.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle: Poured a deep clear copper color beer with a nice foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt is bit weak. Taste is dominated by some light caramel malt and some unrefined grain or adjunct that is not too pleasant. Body is a bit light with some good carbonation. I was under the impression that this was an amber ale until I check on the website and noticed that this was an attempt at an Altbier – definitely off-style but fortunately I don’t rate to style .
