2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nice copper color but very thin head. Leaves some lacing. Mild malty aroma without anything outstanding. Slight malty taste with some roasted malt in the back. Clean nutty finish. A safe drinkable brew.

Slightly less than your Yuengling Lager. Perhaps it is since I’ve not experienced it enough. Oh well, no loss since it isn’t as good. A nice tribute to Maryland, even though it is produced in Delaware. Worth a once over, especially if it is on tap.

Malt throughout the beer from aroma to finish. Light and refreshing. I would buy a six pack.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a medium yellow color with a fizzy, off-white head that again, quickly dissipates. As with the last offereing, there is little to no lacing. Body settles clear with a much darker, light to medium amber hue with a slight haze. Aroma is moderately malty with hints of molasses. Initial taste is moderately bitter, finishing a light bitter finish with a short duration. Light on the mouth, it has a smooth texture with soft carbonation.

Half pint at the Rake. Served in a snifter, Bronze, hazy, 1 finger head. Malty aroma, notes of rasperry. Tasted malts, rasperry and some burnt caramel, charcol finish. Lively carbonation, smooth texture, medium body. Tried to be an Altbier but ended up being something like a weak Dopplebock, style best left to Dusseldorf brewers .

Hints of grapefruit. Old shoe aftertaste. Mediocre regular taste. Not that thrilling.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours an reddish brown color....a little bit of carbonation, small white head with some lacing. Aroma is merely straw/grassy. Not a lot of taste though...just a little malty....not much else. Fordham is not a macro....expect a little better from a micro.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Ram’s head in Annapolis. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a bit of white head. Aroma has some caramel malt and citrus, rather mild. Flavor has a bit of cereal, some caramel malt, and orange peel with medium sweetness. Finish has some malt bitterness. Overall not too much flavor, but it’s inoffensive and easy to drink.
