Commercial Description:
Our Fordham Lager is a golden Bavarian-style lager, with a firm malty body, a subtle hop character, and a slightly sweet finish. Helles is the German word for light or pale, referring to the color of the beer. This is the everyday drinking beer for Germans in Munich. Fordham Lager is bottom-fermented, making it a lager beer, and has a medium to light-body. It has a clean, malt accented aroma and a malty finish with little hop bitterness. Our Fordham Lager is a very balanced beer, meaning that it is not too sweet and not too bitter. It is brewed mostly with pale malted barley and small amounts of Vienna and Munich malts, which increases the body and maltiness in the beer.

Bottle courtesy of beachbum25. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of wheat and bubblegum. Tastes of wheat, some peppers, light spice. Decent.

Bottle, light amber in color, decent head. Aroma is weak malt. Taste upfront is kind of bitter. Overall the taste is mild amount of malt. Not much to write home about. Just an ok beer.

It is what it says, a pale colored lager with not much of anything to speak of going on. Definitely a summertime easy-drinker.

Draft at RamsHead Tavern, BWI. Crystal clear yellow colored body. Flavor is a mix of sweet and astringent, rough malt. Has some serious roughness that comes from improper mashing, no doubt, it’s just coarse and unrefined. Semi-sweet flavor of corn and grains throughout, some huge twang as well... then basically jusst harsh grains and soda carbonation. Not good.

Pours pale yellow, but it’s a little darker yellow. 1/2 inch head that dissapears quickly. stinky lager aroma. very light lacing. Light malt and hops flavor that’’s a little musty. Light mouthfeel. Full flavor. Clumpy finish.
