No nose at all. God. Is a bit creamy, has a few hops at the end with decent bitterness.

On tap at Dominion brew fest. Pours a light golden copper. Aroma is malty and lightly grassy. Taste is light and refreshing. Grainy with good malt backing and some light hops at the end. Mouthfeel is appropriate for a Helles. Slightly sweet aftertaste. Nice brew.

Pours gold, with decent head and lacing. Aroma of malt, hops, citrus, and some honey. Tastes spicy, malty, with a finish of hops, honey, and chardonnay-like tastes. Somewhat light on the palate. A very good lager.

Medium gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and grainy. A medium bodied lager. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are mild and slightly spicy. A mild slightly sweet helles. Light and refreshing. Clean and crisp with no flavor defects. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

The golden-yellow appareance, with a light thin head, made me reluctant to try this brew. Still, the aroma was light and sweet, and I put my lips to it. Spicy and crisp, it is an excellent representation of the style. Not the best style, mind you, but if you want Helles, try this.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 envane (557) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2004
Hazy copper/bronze. Taste is too fruity - a common fault I am finding with many American lagers. Not lagering long enough? Light hops, good body. Not an unpleasant beer, just not what I am looking for.

Yellow-orange with no head whatsoever. Sweet aroma. Average body with no real distinctive feel. Kinda candy-malt flavors. Just OK.

Much better than I expected. I really thought this beer was going to suck. Poured a light gold with a decent white head. Aroma was fairly malty and hopped. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Slight hops on the tongue. For what it was it was good. Nothing outstanding, but very straight forward. A good session brew.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Kinz (2968) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 9, 2004
Light to medium golden body with a decent white head. Aroma of hay and cut grass, gentle. Slightly sweet in the mouth with a taste of light malts and very gentle grassy hops. Not complicated, but enjoyable and well done.

Color is a lighter golden yellow with a tall fluffy off-white head that fades fast, lace in minimal spots and webs. Smell has a nice clean herbal, mineral-like hops with a touch of fruity pebbles, good German nose, just a bit to light though. Taste is a nice crisp and clean hop, soem dried variants with nice little herbal hints and some notes of minerals, malts are lightly breadish with a sourdough-like quality. Feel is light, close to medium, super clean and very smooth, quick crispness at first with lightly dry breadish souring finish thats nice. A pretty good Helles, easy, clean, crisp, and drinkable.
