COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Fordham Lager is a golden Bavarian-style lager, with a firm malty body, a subtle hop character, and a slightly sweet finish. Helles is the German word for light or pale, referring to the color of the beer. This is the everyday drinking beer for Germans in Munich. Fordham Lager is bottom-fermented, making it a lager beer, and has a medium to light-body. It has a clean, malt accented aroma and a malty finish with little hop bitterness. Our Fordham Lager is a very balanced beer, meaning that it is not too sweet and not too bitter. It is brewed mostly with pale malted barley and small amounts of Vienna and Munich malts, which increases the body and maltiness in the beer.

Keg at The Draft House, Tower Bridge, London. Gold with white head, carbonated. Quite a perfumed beer, flowery, some ginger and apple. A touch sweetish in the body, lemonade. Mixed.

Hazy yellow, pretty much no head. Aroma was very malty, breast and a bit yeasty. Flavour was light sweetness a bit of saltiness. Not awful but not that tasty either.

355ml bottle. Pours light and golden with a small head, as expected. The nose has too much butterscotch for my liking. There’s a lack of freshness considering this is a lager. The taste is marginally better but still butterscotch and no fresh zingy finish. The palate is close to medium bodied with a cloying finish. Overall, not a good beer.

Very light crisp beer. This is the kind of beer you can sit down and drink with a few buddies. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Would have gotten a higher rating had I just mowed my lawn. Seems true to it’s style.

Very real aroma. Slight hops and maybe Apple, but really faint. Medium yellow. Good carbonation. Mild hops...grass, hay. Very mild flavor but beer is smooth. Some life. It would wash down a sandwich well. Side by side comp. With yeungling lager and victory lager.

Pours clear golden with a one finger fluffy head. Smells musty like hay, a hint of sweet honey, and maybe white grape. Flavor is very heavy on the sweet honey, with a lingering sweetness on the palate. Finishes a little dirty (sort of like a Miller Lite for me) with medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel. This is my first helles lager, and honestly this was decenlty refreshing. Honey flavor seemed to dominate and was very pleasant. Nice to relax with, but not particularly exciting.

12 Oz. Bottle. Poured a nice golden with a little white head. Aroma of bread and malt, maybe a hint of citrus too. Flavor is quite sweet, just a tat of bitterness and kind of watery. Quite drinkable.

Hazy gold beer, decent white head. Light crispy palate, semi dry. Mild lagerish malt, reasonable orange hop. Mild minerals. The malt is creamy. Pretty drinkable.

12 ounce bottle- poured out a cloudy yellow-gold with a robust and long lasting white head. Aroma was quite sour. Taste was fair, hops and a corn sweetness. Palate was a little thicker than the average lager. Not bad.

From the beer of the month club. Pours a light pale orange with an above average foamy white head. This beer has a medium sweetness with medium bitter malts and grainy flavor.
