COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our German-style light lager has all the flavor and character of a fine crafted beer, without all of the calories. Fordham Light is bottom-fermented, making it a lager beer. It is a light-bodied beer with a clean aroma. Fordham Light has a clean finish with little to no hop bitterness and is brewed with 100% malted barley. Most low calorie lagers are produced by simply adding water to regular beer until they become a low calorie beer. This dilution can be quite unsavory when one considers the adjunct brewed (e.g., corn or rice), flavorless beer they start with. Fordham Light is brewed with the same high quality ingredients and procedures that we use in all of our beers. We purposely brew Fordham Light to be a low calorie beer. This is why Fordham Light has a "real beer" flavor and a "real beer" body.

Pours a pale light yellow with a one finger white head. The nose is bready, papery, grassy hops, sweet malt. Flavor is stale and basementy, grassy, bready. No good.

On Tap - Rams Head Roadhouse-Clear yellow color w/a slight white head. Slight hop aroma. Light flavor of hop, grass, & corn. Smooth & easy to drink, nothing too fancy here, but nothing wrong w/it. Better choice than a BMC product. Good after work, dinner @ the Bar brew when you just want a couple to cool of, refresh, & relax w/o having to think too much @ it. For a light beer, this was pretty good actually. I’d drink it again.

Bottle picked up at stateline... I normally would skip over any lager, let alone light lager but this one is from DE. Twist off. Poured into a regular pint glass. Good head. Weak aroma of barley. Taste is the same. But it does have some positives... Its fresh and crisp. Light and easy to drink. Still better than any BMC product. Anyway...for a light lager its not bad at all. They are so boring. My 110th beer from DE!

Bottle. Poured golden with a white head that settles out. Aromas of corn and hints of hops. Flavors of corn and grain. Light body, watery yet crisp, grain at. Just not doing it for me.

Bottle thanks to Butters. Nice golden yellow with a thin white foam. Corn and malt aroma, a bit thin but sweet. Taste is big cereal sweetness, a light bittering finish. Good light.

Clear pale gold with a tiny white head. Malty nose. Pale lager taste: malt with a touch of sweetness. Not very good.

Picked up a sixer of this in, of all places, Alabama! Pours a clear gold with large fading white head. Nose is metallic and corny. Flavor is very grainy and corny with a metallic aluminum twinge. Astringent carbonic bite. Not horrible as far as light beers go, about on par with a bud light.
