Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This hazy golden beer has rich orange marmalade and citrus flavours, pine notes and more orange on the creamy finish. Excellent!

Keg at Jake’s Place, Edinburgh, Scotland. Lovely strong IPA, sharp and hoppy with a light finish leaving a dry hop taste in the back of the mouth. Pretty good kick in this fantastic brew!

Keg at Jake’s Place. Hazy golden body with a medium white head that holds well. Very light carbonation. Excellent lacing. Big hoppy aroma of pine, caramel and peach. Flavour is very bitter and woody, with a hint of blood orange. Slightly peppery finish. Full body with a thick, oily texture. Soft carbonation. Just my type of IPA - bold and bitter with a lovely full mouthfeel. If I was being extremely picky, it could do with a touch more citric sharpness. As it is, though, this is delicious.

This is a very good American IPA. Punchy hops with grapefruit, pine and peach tastes. Overall crisp, fresh and quite bitter. I’m a fan.

Semi-bitter, but with a funky taste. Intriguing, not horrible, but better than most beer available at the Verizon Center.

Overheard the salesperson at total wine say this was his favorite IPA do decided to give it a try. Interesting aroma - funky smells, tangy smells, earthy smells. Good clearish color, average head and light lacing. Taste is very solid - grapefruit hops and a nice level of bitterness. Balanced out with caramel malt. Glad I bought a six pack. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours deep copper toward overripe pumpkin orange with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is piney hops, spare caramel malt, tangerine, mango, black pepper. Tastes bitter, heavy on the IBUs, with pineapple, tangerine, not very much sweetness, some caramel malt, and a piney resiny finish.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Hazy orange pour with a decent off-white head. Piney hops, caramel malts and citrus fruits in the nose. Flavour was similar with some good hop bitterness. Dried out towards the finish. This seems a bit under rated. Very solid IPA.
