Medium bodied, decent balance, solid lingering bitterness. Nice IPA.

Firkin draft at the Khyber. Blonde pour. Slight white head. Way sweeter than I was expecting. Underlying wheat beer flavors. Slighty hoppy golden ale.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours deep copper toward overripe pumpkin orange with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is piney hops, spare caramel malt, tangerine, mango, black pepper. Tastes bitter, heavy on the IBUs, with pineapple, tangerine, not very much sweetness, some caramel malt, and a piney resiny finish.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 keepersj12 (2240) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - APR 5, 2013
This may be skewed because I had this following a Troegs Nygget Nector. Both on tap at Two Stones in Wilmington De. Bland aroma with a bit of malt and a little citrus. The flavor is balnd with a bit of malt up front and some bitter hops at the end. Kind of thin.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 radagast83 (3098) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Draft. Poured a pretty medium-cloudy copper color with a white fluffy head. Aroma was pine, floral notes and a touch of orange citrus character. Flavor was crisp, enjoyable pine character with a crisp biscuit malt character. Hops were enjoyable in this one.

Overheard the salesperson at total wine say this was his favorite IPA do decided to give it a try. Interesting aroma - funky smells, tangy smells, earthy smells. Good clearish color, average head and light lacing. Taste is very solid - grapefruit hops and a nice level of bitterness. Balanced out with caramel malt. Glad I bought a six pack.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bigrond (1347) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2013
This was a solid IPA. Good flavor, nice hoppy dryness. Unfortunately, it just gets lost in the shuffle behind many other stellar IPA’s. Worth a try, but not worth a revisit
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GSH1976 (123) - Delaware, USA - FEB 16, 2013
Pours a hazy, dark yellow color with lots of head and upon closer inspection there are thousands of small particles floating around. The aroma is rather muted with some grain notes. This definitely does not have the hop presence usually found in IPAs. The taste is bitter citrus with a very dry finish. The body is medium. A below average IPA.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ben4321 (2982) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 11, 2013
Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 2/11/13
Aroma: The nose is fairly hoppy, with some floral, resin, and citrus style hops to it
Appearance: Pours a hazed orange color with a small, lasting, sheet of white head and lots of lace
Flavor: Taste-wise, this one has some mild sweetness, but is mostly hop bitterness here
Palate: The body is medium, it has average carbonation, and a lengthy, dry finish on the mouth
Overall Impression:
Good stuff. There’s a nice hop presence, but there isn’t a really dominant hop component. This one is pretty much just a straight-up solid IPA, and so there isn’t a ton more explanation needed here.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 r464 (1464) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Golden color with a whitish head. Hoppy, slightly bitter, hints of citrus zest. Crisp finish. Not a bad IPA, but not a particular standout.
