4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Jake’s Place. Hazy golden body with a medium white head that holds well. Very light carbonation. Excellent lacing. Big hoppy aroma of pine, caramel and peach. Flavour is very bitter and woody, with a hint of blood orange. Slightly peppery finish. Full body with a thick, oily texture. Soft carbonation. Just my type of IPA - bold and bitter with a lovely full mouthfeel. If I was being extremely picky, it could do with a touch more citric sharpness. As it is, though, this is delicious.

Draft at The Orchard in Frederick, MD. Served in a pint glass, hazy golden-amber color with white head. Aroma of piney/citrus hops with some malt sweetness. Taste is moderate bitterness, flavorful grapefruity/resin hops balanced with some nice caramely malt. Medium body, moderate carbontion, bitter, malty with dry lingering bitter finish. Not exceptional but pretty solid IPA.
