Rams Head IPA challenges easy drinking, Flavor charged and aggressively hopped, this ale immediately brandishes its horns, asserting dominance with a head butt of aroma.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy orange color with a small off white head. The nose has light citrus, grain, and herbal notes. The flavor has a touch of fruitiness with pretty even play between the malt and hops. The citrus notes seem bright and work well with the slight caramel notes. Medium bodied with a medium finish. A surprisingly tasty offering from a brewery I’m not normally impressed by.

Eh. Not terrible, but kind of a of bitter taste. I like IPAs and hops don’t scare me, but this seemed was kind of off to me.

Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Juues üpris kerge, alkohol on väga hästi varjatud, õline suutunne, veidi nurgeliselt greibimõru: justkui olekski olnud üksitine eesmärk teha üks mõru õlu. Maitses domineerib pigem linnaseline toon, millegipärast assotsieerub see mullasusega, umbes nagu sobiks juua lõunapausi ajal, töötades kuskil Ameerika kuuma kesklääne mullaväljadega ümbritsetud farmis - huultele on veerenud higipullid, ninasõõrmed heinatolmu täis. Humala mõru ja paras kogus alkoholi nagu kannustaks päeva teist poolt välja kannatama. Samas... ega ta halb ka pole (soojenedes muutub juba täitsa okeiks).

Bottle from Oddbins, Blackheath. Golden coloured pour with a fluffy white head. Nice nose of sweet fruit- peach, mangoes etc. Flavours of pear, pineapple- lots of sweet fruit which segues into a pronounced bitterness. Long bitter linger. Nice.

Draft at The Ram’s Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD This was tasted while on a class reunion. The IPA poured a clear golden color with an off white head. There was a nice head formation and lacing. Light citrus on the nose. The taste had some light resin notes. This is good IPA with a medium body and light carbonation. The finish was clean and dry with hop bitterness. Very drinkable!

Smells like im in for a citrusy bitter treat, hazy golden body with a creamy white head, a creamy IPA! with some nice lemon flavours refreshing with no hint of its strength.

Bottled. Pours Clear and golden, with close to no head. Aroma is initially quite harsh, almost "cat-pissy", but evolves slowly into a lot sweeter marmelade-ish note. Taste is citrus and sweet. Light-bodied, with a tint bitterness. Decent, but not great.

355ml bottle. Appearance - golden orange with a nice head. Nose - resinous with an orange or apricot note behind it. Yes it’s apricots. Taste - orange shred that you get in marmalade. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture that quickly turns into a long and very dry finish. Overall - yep nice and complex

355ml bottle, cheers Ash! Pours clear golden amber, thin white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, resin. Taste is grapefruit bitter, some caramel at the back, apricot. Tongue-coating bitter finish. Decent.
