COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rams Head IPA challenges easy drinking, Flavor charged and aggressively hopped, this ale immediately brandishes its horns, asserting dominance with a head butt of aroma.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy orange color with a small off white head. The nose has light citrus, grain, and herbal notes. The flavor has a touch of fruitiness with pretty even play between the malt and hops. The citrus notes seem bright and work well with the slight caramel notes. Medium bodied with a medium finish. A surprisingly tasty offering from a brewery I’m not normally impressed by.

From a bottle at the On Tap summer beer tasting. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Mild hop nose. Grassy hops with a hint if grapefruit zest. Bitter finish.

Firkin draft at the Khyber. Blonde pour. Slight white head. Way sweeter than I was expecting. Underlying wheat beer flavors. Slighty hoppy golden ale.

Pours hazy deep gold with a substantial white head. Aroma is citrus, tropical, grass and resin. Taste is bitter with just a touch of sweetness on the finish. Medium bodied, decent carbonation and crisp finish.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours deep copper toward overripe pumpkin orange with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is piney hops, spare caramel malt, tangerine, mango, black pepper. Tastes bitter, heavy on the IBUs, with pineapple, tangerine, not very much sweetness, some caramel malt, and a piney resiny finish.

This may be skewed because I had this following a Troegs Nygget Nector. Both on tap at Two Stones in Wilmington De. Bland aroma with a bit of malt and a little citrus. The flavor is balnd with a bit of malt up front and some bitter hops at the end. Kind of thin.

Draft. Poured a pretty medium-cloudy copper color with a white fluffy head. Aroma was pine, floral notes and a touch of orange citrus character. Flavor was crisp, enjoyable pine character with a crisp biscuit malt character. Hops were enjoyable in this one.

Overheard the salesperson at total wine say this was his favorite IPA do decided to give it a try. Interesting aroma - funky smells, tangy smells, earthy smells. Good clearish color, average head and light lacing. Taste is very solid - grapefruit hops and a nice level of bitterness. Balanced out with caramel malt. Glad I bought a six pack. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This was a solid IPA. Good flavor, nice hoppy dryness. Unfortunately, it just gets lost in the shuffle behind many other stellar IPA’s. Worth a try, but not worth a revisit

Pours a hazy, dark yellow color with lots of head and upon closer inspection there are thousands of small particles floating around. The aroma is rather muted with some grain notes. This definitely does not have the hop presence usually found in IPAs. The taste is bitter citrus with a very dry finish. The body is medium. A below average IPA.
