Had this on tap at the Good beer festival in Salisbury, MD on Oct 9, 2011. The scent was of fall spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, it tasted almost like a pumpkin ale but more on the pumpkin spice side rather than the actual pumpkin. Poured a deep mahoghany with a tiny off white/tan head. Out of all of the beers I tasted at the festival this was by far my favorite. Very complex, full mouth feel and smooth.

This is a solid spiced beer that has a great pumpkin spice aroma that is not too aggressive, just enough spice. Great beer.

kerenmk (2001) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 28, 2013
Bottle. Beer of the month club. Pours rusty, cloudy with white head. Allspice, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and fruit aroma. Ripe banana, sweet and spicy taste. Medium body, malty aftertaste, peppery finish, mind carbonation.

stangger (582) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Bottle on brew day. Sweet caramel, honey, some spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, the usual suspects. A bit overly sweet with only mild pumpkin flavor.

This one has the spices of a pumpkin ale without the pumpkin. Malty and sweet, hints of cinnamon and clove. Not too bad.

crazyvin (1858) - New York, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Poured a nice amber hue with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma a nice caramel malt base. Good notes from pumpkin and spices. Honey was mild. Flavor was nice and did have a great flavor from the pumpkin and the spices were present but a bit restrained, which was nice. Honey seemed lost. Finish was smooth and not too filling. Decent.

Pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is nutmeg, cinnamon and caramel. Taste its sweet and spicy, nice little kick on the finish. Medium bodied with some stickiness.

sonnycheeba (3042) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Tap. Pours hazy, dark gold with average, creamy white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, cookie and caramel malts, earthy hops, spice, and light straw. Flavor is sweet malt dominate with some pumpkin, straw, and faint hops; sweet finish. Light body and low carbonation.

glennmastrange (2145) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Bottle. Moderate bread, herbs and dough for the malt, hops and yeast, with notes of pumpkin and nutmeg. Head is small, frothy, off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Flavor starts light sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Again, not a big Pumpkin Beer fan, but this one was drinkable.

5000 (6027) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Bottle:   Amberish, on the orange side, thin frothy white head, little lacing.   Pumpkin pie spiced aroma, even the crust.   Similar tongue, slightly tart, soft sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with the usual cinnamon and nutmeg.   Seems like a solid example.
