The flavor’s more on the malty side, but certainly not overpowering. A nice, decently balanced pale ale. Good session beer with plenty of flavor. beerguy101 (3478), Newark, California, USA Jun 7, 2008 This American Pale Ale pours an orange copper color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel malt and citrus and piney hops. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are piney and grapefruity. Nicely balanced, slightly hop forward APA. It is almost IPA like in its hopiness. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is somewhat bitter.
