Dark Gold Color with Off White Ring. Subtle Aroma. Clean Crisp Light Grains. Light Bitter Dry Ending. Nice Simple Tasting Session Brew.

On tap at Union Street Pub in Alexandria, VA. I drank a Yunegling before I had this, so it was nice to compare them side by side because they are essentially the same kind of beer. This is a little watery, lighter... but the same slight bitterness is present. A good beer to wash down some bar food with, but nothing too exciting. One thing to add... the bar I drank this at kept their beer tap too warm. I like my beer very cold, so this may have detracted from my review. I know that beer isn’t supposed to be overly cold, but this beer was almost too warm to enjoy.

Not bad for a microbrewed lager--not overhopped like most US micros, but lacking a bit on the maltiness side of the spectrum. Still, a refreshing change of pace after a Pilsner Urquell...

This is a tasteless little lager, kind of watery and sweet. Has a light corn character that is unpleasant. The hop character is fairly noble though.

Looks like a macrolager, kind of tastes like one. A few hops in the aroma. The flavor is clean and crisp with a bit of hops, but has a strong macro-skunk flavor to it. No real aftertaste or finish. A sub-average brew.
