Amber Color with Off White Skin. Something Off in the Aroma. Possible Infection. Little Metallic..Musty Clean, Crisp and Dry Malt Flavor. Simple Easy Drinking Red. Flavor Much Better Than the Aroma Suggested..Still Some Metallic Notes at the End.

On tap at the Birchmere. A decent looking red ale. An average aroma for a red with a nice red hue. The flavor had a slight adjunct/cheap beer flavor to it. Was able to finish off the pitcher, but there are more drinkable beers out there.

Bailey’s Pub and Grille - Crystal City, Arlingotn, Va. - on tap. Slightly funky, homebrewy like sweet aroma with hints of nuts and cotton candy. Light copper pour, tight white head, brief lacing. Flavors of maple syrup, some peanuts and homebrew funkiness, similar to the aroma. Slightly muddled and unfinished. Decently thick mouthfeel. Needs work.

Ruby-amber colored body with a medium thick white head. Smell is faint, but what I can detect screams delicious hops. Taste is wonderful combination of sweet, fragrant and bitter, sour hops. Aftertaste is pleasantly bitter and fresh. This is a very good, hoppy APA that I enthusiastically recommend.

Had this on tap at Union Public House in Alexandra, VA. It was just o.k. I expected more from it's name but I wasn't all that impressed. Decent color but nothing else notable.
