2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled, 355ml at The Jam Factory, Oxford. Gold with carbonated head. Full on bubblegum, pear drop flavours from the start, heavy perfumed notes. Like eating a whole bag of pear drops in one go.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg in Otto W2. Yellowy colour, looked surprisingly flat. Quite intense, slightly artificial, sweet flavour, bubble gum and pear drops. Hard work. Not to my liking.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A hazy, golden-orange coloured beer with a frothy white head. All the elements of a wheat beer in the aroma, tropical fruits and spices. Medium-dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, all the expected flavours of slightly sour tropical fruits and some dry spice flavours, but all a tad milder than most, more potent wheat beers. The finish is zesty and full flavoured.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg from Jake’s Place. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Average carbonation. Light lacing. Mild aroma of caramel and chalky wheat. The flavour is chalk, wood, pale malt, candy floss, banana and cloves. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. A good attempt but a long way off the best German Hefeweizens.

Ehh, slightly watery & too light for my tastes. Just kind of blah. Nothing to write home about.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
355ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Moderately sweet wheaty aroma, bubblegum, a floral touch, a spicy touch of mustard. Taste is moderately sweet wheat malty, bubblegum, a floral touch, fruity notes of citrus and gooseberry. Slightly artificial and simply not my taste.
